Crazeeee Week

Last week (Technically, since Sunday should be the start of the week) has been a total madness..I have an engagement in Seremban *which is happening now*, hence, we would usually drive to Seremban on Sunday evening, stay there for a week (nearly), and head home on Saturday morning.

However, this time, it was a bit screwed up (for me at least)..

This job was supposed to start earlier and thus, would have been long completed before my courses come into the picture. Nonetheless, due to some swapping of jobs here and there, I ended up in this mess… (teehehe..not quite a mess, just uber tiring week)

My courses were supposed to take place on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday… and hence, after one day at work, I drove all the way back to KL on Monday night, just so I can attend the course on Tuesday. I then drove back to Seremban on Wednesday morning, and came back in the evening to attend my course on Thursday…

Just when I thought that’s the end of it….the Thursday course, which was supposed to last for 2 days, was apparently, reflected wrongly, and in actual fact, should only be for a day…

*faints*

So, I drove to Seremban again on Friday morning, and back in the evening after a day’s work…

my conclusion: It’s tiring to drive so far for so many days, and losing sleep over it because I need to drive so far.

Well, on the brighter side, at least it has not been all-about-work week. On Friday night, after some drama and some ffk-ing….some of us batchmates still managed to meet up for dinner on Friday night, at Hartamas…

It was supposed to be….7-8 of us…as planned earlier by Shanice..

but in the end, Shane and Elaine couldn’t make it (or maybe they were never part of the dinner planssss??? hmmm…I’m not sure actually), Suzen had to attend family dinner, and Shanice was having a bit of drama which “prevented” her from coming…

So, in the end, there were only 4 of us at dinner (Paik Yee and Scottie, me, Cindy)…

But the food was fantabulous!! Forgot to bring my camera, hence no picture…

It was also part of the plan to then head over to my place so that they can play with the pups, and at the same time, celebrate the Mooncake Festival, and of cuz, my birthday! \(^o^)/

However, as Paik Yee was totally freaked out by that idea of playing with (or being attacked by) Bailey and the 3 pups, hence declined the offer and went home…

But just as we (Me and Cindy) thought it would just be the 2 of us with the mooncakes (no tanglungs >.< ), and the pups…Suzen turned up~!! Wheeee!!! with TangLungs!!! *I love her…she gives u surprises when you least expect it* We then proceeded to lit up all the tanglungs…*Suzen burnt a hole into one while doing so* and hang them up! I think all of us haven’t played with a tanglung…for…more than 10 years? *Geez…I’m getting oldddddd*

ps: The lanterns were all lit up, but as the picture without flash was very blur, I had to take one with flash, hence, it looks like the lanterns were just there, without candles…

Suzen also bought me a cake~!! I haven’t had one for my birthday for…ages~!! For my family and I are not quite fond of cakes…but well…I still reckon cake makes the birthday celebration happier…*Happified me*

Blueberry Cheesecake!

Suzen and Cindy reckon I have been a deprived child all these while, for the last time I had a cake for my birthday was when I was….12?

Granny was insisting for a red packet before she takes the picture, so that it will be nicer…hence the pic with the red packet…*with some cold-hard-cash in it, of cuz*

And only after that did I realise that I forgot to take a picture with Cindy…with the mooncakes she bought me.. (>.<) Sorry babe~! After the cake cutting and photography session, the cake was distributed to everyone, including Bailey and DoRaeMon!! *Happified dogs*

Conclusion: All in all, by end of Friday, I was exhausted, but also very happy. \(^o^)/ There may be just a few of us, but ultimately, I believe its quality time spent nonetheless.  

Random

I wanted to blog today, but could not think of what to blog about. And when I try to think of something, all that was in my mind was my work-related to-do list…which is a few pages long *faints*

After a rather long procrastinating session, I finally succumbed to my mind, sat down and started working… *grrrrrr*
4 hours later…
I think I’ve had enough work for today, I shall now reward myself with some grapes and strawberries…

*Headed down to the fridge for the fruits*

I’ve never seen such huge-ass strawberries…about the size of water apples~! (Maybe it’s just me being “jakun”….hmmm

I wonder if they are mutated…
Oh well, still yummy nonetheless…

Conclusion: The secret to keep yourself happy- Work hard, and reward yourself! Oh yeah, ultra random post. Bite me! =P
