Double Happiness…or just a lil short

Just a lil less than a week ago, I received a news…a happy one…I will be getting my promotion end of this month. Well, I’m due..and really, there’s nothing much to be excited about..
Still, I guess it’s only right that I am happy about it. I am happy about the promotion, but more importantly, I am happy that all my friends also got the same good news.
Most of us were promoted, which made the whole news just a lil sweeter…

Today, marked another important day in my calendar of 2007. I sat for my final 2 CPA papers a lil more than a month ago, and today, the results came out. The happy news is, I’m now officially done and over with the CPA exams. One more year in the accounting line, and I will be a CPA. This news was surely…great enough to lift my mood up.
But sadly, a few of my friends did not manage to pull thru this round. One of them even happens to be a very close friend of mine. I was dumbfounded when I heard the news. Frankly, I didn’t even know what to tell her, or if I should even be telling her anything! Saying anything (especially when it comes from me), would sound more like a mockery than of a consolation, or so I think.
I suck big time when it comes to all these. I suck at my soft skills…

Nonetheless, I would just like to let her know that I cared, and still do. I may not be the best candidate when it comes to consoling someone, or even to cheer one up, but I am, and will always be there to listen, as a friend.

As time passed, many things have changed. Circumstances changed. People changed. But some things..never do.

Conclusion: Dear friend, never let go of hope. One day, you will see that it all has finally come together. What you have always wished for has finally come to be. You will look back and laugh at what has passed and you will ask yourself ‘How did I get through all of that?

At 2215 hours, 05/12/2007, Wednesday: Hmm…what should I blog about?
Let’s see… I went to KL Tower revolving restaurant for lunch last Saturday, maybe I should blog bout that.. Oh wait. Sis blogged bout it.. Went to watch Kitaro that night…
Oh oh..sis blogged bout that too… Oh oh! I know! I shall blog about my nephew’s wedding last Sunday! Craps…there’s a post on that in sis’s blog too!
*Sigh*

Initially, I wanted to post on “I’m back in Seremban, Again”, but finally decided against it, since I reckon it would be far from interesting…

And I’m tired, I’m sleepy, and my brain has shut down…my mind..blocked…
